Survey shows how much grouse shooters spend

Grouse shooting visitors to Scotland spent over £3,500 per person last season before a shot was even fired. The statistics come from a visitor survey undertaken jointly by Scotland’s regional moorland groups and The Scottish Gamekeepers Association.

Rod licence figures soared in 2020

Between 13 May, when the restrictions were lifted, and 9 June 2020, over 335,000 fishing licences were sold compared to 142,000 licences sold from the start of the year to end of March 2020, a rise of over 230 per cent in less than two months. This also represents a rise of over 200,000 more than the same period in 2019.

New CCI Eco clay launched

In response to the outlawing of certain chemicals and contaminants, clay manufacturer CCI International has launched its revolutionary Eco clay target.
