Formerly president of Salmon & Trout Conservation and current vice president of the GWCT, The Duke of Northumberland has won several notable awards including the Purdey Award in recognition of his groundbreaking work to halt the decline in grey partridge numbers.

He has called on several likeminded friends and family members to contribute pieces to this incredible issue, including Sir Nicholas Soames, the Duke of Norfolk and his Florida-based son-in-law Remy W. Trafelet and daughter Katie Percy. His younger brother James met him at home in Alnwick Castle for a chat that covers everything from Hector his beloved spaniel to his thoughts on rewilding.
