Time Well Spent Group has an exclusive overnight stay for two at the Dumfries hotel up for grabs
The scenic area of Dumfries and Galloway is often overlooked, but there are a wide range of field sports to be enjoyed in the area. Nearby Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate, home of the Duke of Buccleuch, offers partridge, grouse, pheasant and simulated shooting. There is also salmon fishing in breathtaking scenery on the River Nith, and rainbow trout fishing on Starburn Loch.
The new luxury Spa at the Cairndale has facilities which include a thermal pool, mud Rasul, aroma steam room, Himalayan salt and infrared saunas, herbal lounge, seafood bathing, ice pool and private bathing suite. It has six treatment rooms. There are several treatments available for soothing tired muscles after a hard day’s shooting or fishing!
Dumfries is easily reached, as it is just half an hour from the English border.
The prize
Win an overnight stay in a Deluxe Room at the hotel for two, dinner, bed and breakfast, a spa treatment, half a day’s clay pigeon shooting on the Estate and half a day’s salmon fishing on the River Nith worth £868.

Accommodation is subject to availability and based on two people sharing.
Dinner is three courses from the a la carte menu. Drinks, other meals or travel expenses are not included.
The prize includes one 60 minute spa treatment each. The winner and companion will have two hours’ access to the spa.
Activities on the Estate are at the winner’s risk and are not available on Sundays.
