Since 2013, Fairfax & Favor has grown into a multi-award-winning lifestyle brand at the forefront of Britain’s luxury fashion sector.

Every piece in their seasonal collections is designed and developed in the heart of the Norfolk countryside.

Fairfax & Favor celebrate their rural heritage in everything that they make, designing with both town and country in mind for anyone with a passion for style and adventure. The brand doesn’t follow trends, they make ageless classics, and each quality piece is destined to work hard, suit their loyal customers’ lifestyle and live forever in their wardrobe.

Proudly approaching a decade in business, Fairfax & Favor stands for timeless style, quality and, above all else, community.

Two women walking together wearing Fairfax & Favor country footwearFounders Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker are childhood friends who took the plunge and decided to launch their very own footwear brand, combining their middle names.

Inspired to offer a fresh take on ‘country chic’, the duo set about developing their first shoe design in the spring of 2012. Utilising their university summer break to work shifts at their local pub, The Bedingfeld Arms, and as a fireplace delivery team for After The Antique, they saved up enough money to place their first ever order for 420 pairs of Fairfax & Favor loafers.

Everything changed in the summer of 2013. Popping up an old gazebo and repurposing their living room sofa, Marcus and Felix made their first pitch at the Holkham Country Fair. After selling 80 pairs of loafers at the one event, they realised that the show circuit was where they needed to be.

Ever since, the most prestigious equestrian and country events around the UK, Europe and more recently the US have become an important and exciting shopping experience within the Fairfax & Favor world. From the Badminton Horse Trials to the Game Fair, the brands annual calendar is packed full of events.

Two women stood in a doorway, wearing Fairfax & Favor country footwearFairfax & Favor will always be an authentic countrywear brand. But from boots to bags, trainers to apres ski wear, the range has expanded over the years to cater to their customers’ complete lifestyle. The brands first hero product was the Regina boot, a design which took the concept of a clompy, practical, farmhouse Spanish bota and sharpened it up via a slim fit, stylish heel and an interchangeable tassel.

Polishing up practical footwear, accessories and clothing has always been the brands mission and their signature tailored silhouettes are now spotted in town and country settings all over the world.
