Could you be 2021’s Fieldsports Photographer of the Year? The industry’s most hotly-contested photography competition is now open for entries with over £3,000 worth of prizes to be won.

We are delighted to announce that leading optics brand Swarovski Optik will be sponsoring the annual Fieldsports Photographer of the Year competition for 2021.

Now into its ninth year, the industry’s most hotly-contested photography competition is set to gain more attention and entries than ever before.

We want to unearth the outstanding photography that showcases the very best of fieldsports as well as highlight the talent that is out there – those of you who capture and convey the beauty of our country sports, through all seasons and in all weather conditions.

The six categories for this year's competition are:

  • Game shooting
  • Fly fishing
  • Big game
  • Gundogs
  • Miscellaneous sport
  • Conservation (new for 2021)

There are over £3,000 worth of prizes to be won, which include:

  • A pair of Swarovski Optik EL 8.5x42 binoculars, for the overall winner
  • A pair of Swarovski Optik CL 8x25 pocket binoculars, for the overall runner-up
  • A 12-month subscription to Fieldsports Journal and Gundog Journal for each category winner
